UWS works in the world’s most remote and marginalised environments to uphold every child’s right to education.

In partnership with communities, governments and supporters we build and resource schools and recruit and train teachers, to sustainably provide education at scale for children.

We’re sector-leading in our approach, locally developing school and community capabilities to transition our schools into national education systems.

Since 2008, UWS has built over 290 schools, trained over 1,400 local and government teachers and reached over 55,000 children in Nepal, Myanmar, Cambodia and Madagascar.

We’re inspiring an ever-growing movement of teachers, communities, governments and supporters to end education poverty.
