The 3 charities chosen by Atlassian Foundation for Team25 are the following causes. Our AdaptaKind team will be working closely with Atlassian Foundation to create an impact on the ground at Teams, but we also hope we can drum up some interest in these worthy causes ahead of Team 25:
Los Angeles Waterkeeper: Los Angeles Waterkeeper’s mission is to fight for the health of the region’s waterways, and for sustainable, equitable and climate-friendly water supplies. We envision the Los Angeles region as an international leader on integrated, sustainable and equitable water management; a region that is water self-sufficient, and where all waterways throughout the county are safe, healthy and accessible to the public.
DonorsChoose: engages the public in public schools by giving people a simple, accountable and personal way to address educational inequity. We envision a nation where children in every community have the tools and experiences needed for an excellent education.
Watch Duty via Sherwood Forestry Service: we are an apolitical non-governmental organization focused on helping people with the most basic of human needs. Our first product is Watch Duty which provides real-time intelligence about wildfires and other disasters in the American West.
